Varna Regional Court suspended the criminal proceedings in the case against Mayor Blagomir Kotsev. In this case, charges have been brought against four other people, including two municipal councilors. The court's argument for suspending the proceedings is that councilors Nikolai Stefanov and Yordan Kateliev are candidates for members of the 52nd National Assembly.
The suspension of the proceedings is until the announcement of the election results, which will be held on April 19. Until then, all the accused will remain with the same bail measures as they are currently imposed.
