Permanent detention for Asen Simeonov
The Varna District Court has imposed the strictest remand measure, "detention in custody," for 40-year-old Asen Simeonov from the village of Konstantinovo. He is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home, assaulting her, and kidnapping her 11-year-old daughter, Natalia.
Simeonov hid for 24 days in wooded areas in the Varna and Shumen regions before being captured during an attempted theft in the village of Ovcharovo.
