The health inspection in Varna officially confirmed the first cases of a disease that is causing serious concerns among parents in the region. According to the latest data, three children aged 2, 6, and 8 years have been diagnosed with the infection.

How is the infection spreading?

One of the cases is related to contact during the holidays. Two of the children are from the same family and were in contact with another infected child from Sofia during the Easter holidays. This highlights how easily the infection can be transmitted between different cities during travel.

It is important to note that the parents of one of the children refused hospitalization, which has placed the child under quarantine.

What should you watch out for?

Experts are urging parents not to ignore symptoms and to seek medical attention immediately to avoid further spread of the disease in the community.
