Foreign minister Velislava Petrova has signed a draft government decision. In it, she asks the president to issue a decree recalling Bulgaria's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
With her signature, Petrova set in motion the process laid out in the constitution. This is how the foreign ministry formally starts the procedure for replacing a diplomat. The draft must first go through the cabinet, and once approved there, it goes to the president, who then issues the decree recalling the ambassador.
