The Minister of Electronic Governance, the Chairman of the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology (BIM) and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization (BSI) approved a schedule for providing access to the process of authentication of the persons registered in the CEC register under Art. 213a, para. 3 of the Electoral Code.
According to the approved schedule on 30.03.2026, 31.03.2026 and 01.04.2026, in the time range from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00, the persons entered in the CEC register will have access to the hall in the Ministry of Electronic Governance (MEU), where the machines for the upcoming vote are certified.
For external observers in this sense are considered representatives of parties, coalitions and initiative committees registered to participate in the elections, as well as representatives of Bulgarian non-governmental organizations registered as observers, and of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The specified persons are entered by the CEC in a public register, providing them with access in accordance with CEC decision № 4606-NS of March 19, 2026 and the internal rules of the three institutions responsible for the certification - "MEU", "BSI" and "BIM".
