Disciplinary dismissal in Varna Municipality
The Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, announced at an extraordinary briefing that the head of the municipal directorate "Security and Public Order," Aleksandar Dragnev, has been dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
"The reason for the employee's dismissal is directly related to established illegal construction in the Baba Alino area," stated Kotsev.
This is the first step of serious personnel changes within the structure. According to the mayor:
- Three more employees from the same directorate are to be dismissed.
- The municipality is taking a firm stance against violations in construction control.
- Measures are being taken to remove illegal structures in the region.
The case in "Baba Alino" is only the beginning of the audits that the administration plans to conduct in connection with potential legal violations in the municipal administration.
