Electricity prices for businesses will jump 10.75% tomorrow, September 29, figures from the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange show. The average day-ahead price for tomorrow is 161.82 euros per megawatt-hour without VAT, up from 146.11 euros at yesterday's close for today.
Traders sold 101,823.15 megawatt-hours for tomorrow.
Off-peak power will cost the most: between 1am and 8am and again from 9pm to midnight, the average price is 190.84 euros per megawatt-hour. During peak hours, from 9am to 8pm, it averages 132.80 euros.
On the intraday market, 60-minute products are trading at a weighted average of 93.93 euros per megawatt-hour without VAT, while 15-minute products have reached 125.17 euros.
