Businesses will pay an average of 207.38 euros per megawatt-hour before VAT for power delivered tomorrow, 6 October. That was the price electricity traded at today on the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange. It is 1.77% higher than today's price, which closed yesterday at 203.78 euros.
The figures come from the "day-ahead" segment, where deals are struck for delivery the following day. A total of 103,893.88 megawatt-hours was sold for tomorrow.
A megawatt-hour will cost 173.57 euros in peak hours, between 9am and 8pm. In off-peak hours, from 1am to 8am and from 9pm to midnight, the price is 241.19 euros.
On the exchange's intraday segment, 60-minute products traded so far have sold for an average of 168.11 euros per megawatt-hour before VAT, while 15-minute products have averaged 163.40 euros.
