Today at "Hristo Botev" Primary School - Pomorie, the new physical education hall was officially opened. The ribbon was cut by Mayor Ivan Aleksiev, the head of the Regional Education Department - Burgas Valentina Kamalieva, and the school principal Petka Zlatinova.
The physical education hall is a completely new building, thermally and hydro-insulated. It has two changing rooms, lockers for personal belongings, sanitary facilities, and a ramp for children with mobility difficulties. Energy-saving lighting fixtures, grilles, and fitness equipment have been installed. The funding is provided by the Ministry of Education and Science /MES/ under the "Program for the construction and major repair of sports fields and physical education halls in state and municipal schools for the period 2024 - 2027."
"The hall is another important step towards creating better conditions for learning and an active lifestyle. Students will be able to play sports, develop, and build healthy habits in a modern and safe environment. We wish all students much success, energy, and inspiration in the new sports home!" said Mayor Ivan Aleksiev during the opening and thanked all participants in the project implementation process, as well as the manager of the construction company that carried out the activities.
A water blessing for health was performed, and the students presented a festive program on the occasion of the event.
