World Cup in Sports Acrobatics: Burgas hosts again
From May 29th to 31st, the sports community will turn its eyes to "Arena Burgas", where the next edition of the Sports Acrobatics World Cup and the international tournament Burgas International Acro Cup will take place.
Over 500 participants from 15 countries will compete in the prestigious competition, turning Burgas into a center of world gymnastics.
Which nations will participate?
Acrobats from the USA, Australia, Great Britain, Poland, Ireland, Germany, Ukraine, Austria, Israel, India, Hungary, and Romania will take to the mat. They will be joined by athletes from Russia and Belarus, who, following a decision by the International Gymnastics Federation from May 2026, will compete under their national flags again.
Tradition and organization
- This is the third edition of the World Cup in the seaside city (following 2024 and 2025).
- Sixth edition of the Burgas International Acro Cup tournament.
- Organizers: Bulgarian Sports Acrobatics Federation, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Burgas Municipality, and the "Chernomorets" club.
