Cold weather: Expect minus 12 degrees and snow at the end of the week

Temperatures up to minus 12 degrees and new snowfall await us at the end of the week. Cooling is coming with precipitation in the form of snow and rain. It will be coldest on Tuesday morning.

A cold snap is expected with temperatures down to minus 12 degrees Celsius at the end of the week. We are expecting precipitation of rain and snow in many places in the country, with the precipitation in the lowlands in the evening being mainly rain.

On Friday it will be cloudy, with precipitation of rain and snow in many places in the country. Temperatures will not have a significant daily range. On Saturday there will be precipitation, but only in places and mostly light.

On Sunday the cold snap continues and light snow will fall in Western Bulgaria. It will be coldest on Tuesday morning, with temperatures around minus 10 to minus 5. It is possible in places in the northeast that the minimum temperatures will also go lower, to around minus 12 degrees Celsius.

During the day, however, the end of another short ice episode is approaching and daytime temperatures will be around and slightly above zero degrees Celsius in most places.
