Stelian Dobrev returns to his home club FC Sevlievo on loan

A young talented midfielder with rich professional experience joins his team after two-month negotiations between the clubs Fratriya and Sevlievo.

Football talent Stelian Dobrev officially returns to FC Sevlievo, club sources reported today. The twenty-one-year-old midfielder arrives on loan from the Varna second-division team Fratriya, where he demonstrated impressive performance during the past season.

In his professional career, the young footballer already has an impressive 115 matches, marked with 13 accurate goals and 13 assist passes. His performance in the Second League during the previous season includes 27 played matches, 2 scored goals and 1 assist, which makes him an extremely promising player.

Negotiations between the managements of the two clubs continued for nearly two months, until they finally reached an agreement. Dobrev will be fully available to coach Sasho Angelov for the upcoming away game against Etar, which will take place on August 5th at 20:00 hours at the Ivaylo stadium.

Born on November 12, 2003 in Sevlievo, the footballer began his development in his hometown. His career includes a stint at Etar (2019-2020), where he played 16 matches and scored 1 goal in the First League. Subsequently, he passed through the Sofia teams Slavia and CSKA 1948, before joining Fratriya in February 2024.

An additional attestation to his potential is 9 matches and 1 goal for Bulgaria's U19 national youth team. Sevlievo's first match ended in a 0:2 defeat against Hebar (Pazardzhik) in the Second League, but expectations are that Dobrev will contribute to the team's future successes.
