Little Martin arrived in Sofia on a special flight, undergoing a critical life-saving mission. The air ambulance, transporting the four-year-old child, landed on the helipad of the capital's hospital "St. Ekaterina" in another attempt by doctors to give him the best chances of survival. The boy's condition, which remains serious, necessitated his urgent transfer to the highest level of medical care.

Upon landing, the child was immediately transferred to the Clinic of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at "Pirogov" hospital, which specializes in handling the most complex medical cases. This move comes after days of an intensive fight for Martin's life. He had been hospitalized for 12 days at UMHAT-Burgas, where a team of doctors cared for him around the clock.

The tragedy that put the child in this critical condition took place in Sunny Beach. Little Martin and his mother, 35-year-old Hristina, were hit by an ATV. While he has now been moved to Sofia, his mother still remains in the Burgas hospital, where she is also in critical condition, according to medical authorities. The incident caused widespread public outcry and once again brought into focus the issues of pedestrian safety and vehicle control in resort areas.

The operation to transfer the child began earlier today. The helicopter with a team of specialists took off just before 1:00 PM from the helipad of the Burgas hospital to perform this life-saving flight. Since the incident, the fate of Martin and his mother has stirred the public, and doctors at both hospitals continue to fight for their recovery.
