Dramatic special operation at the Marine Station in Varna
Special forces conducted a large-scale and spectacular exercise in Varna, aimed at practicing responses to a terrorist threat. The operation involved teams from the Ministry of Interior, the Naval Forces, and the Military Police, who coordinately neutralized "terrorists" and rescued nearly 30 hostages.
"The goal of this type of exercise is to synchronize our actions; the scenario is realistic," stated the director of the Varna police, Tsvetan Pirovski.
The operation scenario:
- Seizure: Foreign tourists are captured on a vessel and later transferred to the territory of the Marine Station.
- Demands: The terrorists demand a ransom of 3 million dollars, a corridor to the airport, and the release of their accomplices from prison.
- Resolution: After negotiations and perfect coordination, the special forces launched a lightning-fast attack using a helicopter and speedboats.
The exercise concluded successfully, with the hostage crisis brought under control and the goals for synchronization between the various institutions fully achieved.
