MVRO Primorsko Spartakiad: Sports and Camaraderie

The third MVRO Spartakiad in Primorsko brought together 200 athletes from the Ministry of Interior and abroad. The event promoted camaraderie and team spirit among the employees, as well as international cooperation. Deputy Minister Philip Popov congratulated the participants.

The third consecutive Spartakiad of the Trade Union Federation of Employees in the Ministry of Interior (SFSMVR) was held in the resort town of Primorsko on September 20 and 21, 2025.

The event brought together nearly 200 athletes from various structures of the Ministry of Interior, who competed against each other in eight different sports disciplines.

The atmosphere was filled with the energy of the competition and the emotions characteristic of such events. The visible satisfaction of the participants and their enthusiasm speak for themselves.

The Deputy Minister of Interior, Filip Popov, attended the official opening and closing ceremonies of the Spartakiad. His presence underlined the importance that the ministry attaches to sports initiatives that promote collegiality and team spirit among employees.

The international character of the Spartakiad further strengthened its significance. Representatives from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania participated in the competition.

The participation of foreign representatives demonstrates not only the development of sports within the structures of the MIA, but also the strong international contacts and cooperation in the field of security.

After the competition days, the foreign guests also visited the Base of Border Police Ships in Sozopol, which broadened the exchange of experience and knowledge.

Two competition days, filled with fierce competition and a strong spirit of sportsmanship, left an unforgettable impression. The Spartakiad became a successful forum, contributing to the building of stronger ties between MIA employees and their colleagues from abroad.
