Journalist Sonya Koltukliyeva's shoulder got worse overnight, and she may need surgery.
On Thursday evening, a National Protective Service (NSO) guard shoved her to the ground outside the Progressive Bulgaria headquarters as she opened the door of the car of parliament speaker Mihaela Dotsova. Koltukliyeva fell onto the pavement, hit her head and dislocated her shoulder.

The Military Medical Academy (VMA) first sent her home for treatment. Last night, after questioning at the Military District Prosecutor's Office, she went back to the VMA.
NSO leaders said they had done what was needed to get the case fully clarified.
NSO officer Martin Varadinov went to the Military Prosecutor's Office on his own and gave a statement. He was led out of the building in handcuffs at about 1am.
