From February 2026, a new salt room will open its doors at the “Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration” (CSRI) - Chernomorets. It was built with funds from the CSRI budget and represents an important step towards improving the quality of social services offered.
The salt room was officially opened by the mayor of Sozopol Municipality, Mr. Tihomir Yanakiev, Deputy Mayor Andrey Nikolov, and the director of the Complex for Social Services and Healthcare in Sozopol Municipality, Mrs. Yordanka Dimitrova. The facility will be used by the children who are users of the Complex Center for Social Services of Sozopol Municipality.
The goal is to support the respiratory health and general immunity of children, to create a calm and supportive environment, to encourage positive relationships between children, parents, and the social service team, to ensure safety and prevent health risks.
Interested parents who would like their children to use the salt room should contact the CSRI employees by calling 0878/808728, 0550/42034, or the Complex for Social Services and Healthcare Sozopol (KSUZ) by calling 0555/32260, so that the conditions and rules of use can be explained to them.
The opening of the salt room is part of the consistent policy of Mayor Tihomir Yanakiev and Deputy Mayor Andrey Nikolov for the active development of social services in Sozopol Municipality and ensuring quality, accessible, and timely care for children and their families.
