Social benefits for December 2025 will be paid in euros after January 15, 2026. The new amounts of the benefits will apply for January and will be paid in February.
The basis for assistance, on which the right to monthly social assistance and target heating assistance is determined, is 117.19 euros (30% of the poverty line).
Main types of assistance and amounts:
- Monthly targeted rent assistance: 390.63 euros (income criterion for the family).
- One-time assistance for incidental needs: up to 1171.89 euros.
- One-time targeted assistance for an ID card: up to 117.19 euros.
- Monthly targeted assistance for young people: 390.63 euros.
- Dental assistance for veterans: up to 204.52 euros.
- One-time assistance upon the death of a veteran: 255.65 euros.
- Assistance for students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 8th grades: 153.39 euros (first installment) + 76.70 euros (second installment).
- One-time assistance for pregnancy and monthly assistance for children up to 1 year old: income criterion up to 439.71 euros (average monthly income for 12 months).
- Monthly assistance for children up to 20 years old: income criterion up to 388.58 euros (full amount) and from 388.59 to 439.71 euros (80% of the amount).
The payment of family benefits will be only in cash from January 1 to June 30, 2026. People in kind must submit an application.
Assistance for people with permanent disabilities:
- Monthly financial support: from 27.34 to 222.66 euros (depending on the degree of disability and the type of pension).
- Targeted assistance: for the purchase of a vehicle (up to 1562.52 euros), for adapting a home (up to 781.26 euros), for balneotherapy (up to 312.50 euros), for a companion (up to 312.50 euros).
Assistance for foster families:
- Monthly remuneration: from 930.30 to 1054.34 euros (depending on the number of children).
- Funds for raising children: from 390.63 to 429.69 euros (depending on age).
- Supplement for children with disabilities: 117.19 euros.
Assistance for children with relatives and close people:
- Monthly assistance: from 390.63 to 429.69 euros (depending on age).
- One-time assistance: up to 781.26 euros (total for the year).
The ASP clarifies that it is not necessary for citizens to take action to receive their benefits in euros.
