The Sofia District Court ordered permanent detention for Hristo Yordanov, who caused a large-scale alarm with a false signal about dangerous luggage at Bulgaria's air gate. The court ruling emphasizes the exceptional public danger of the act, which can be appealed within the legally established three-day period.

The Prosecutor's Office, represented by Yordan Stoyanov, qualified the act as an assault on national security and international transport communications. Experts definitively classify the committed act as a crime with a high degree of public threat.

The defendant's defender - lawyer Svetoslav Grigorov, tried to present an alternative version of his client's motives. According to the procedural representative, the actions were provoked by personal emotional experiences related to a woman named Martina Hesova, who was traveling to Slovakia.

The lawyer insisted on a lighter measure of restraint, highlighting the family circumstances of the defendant - father of two minor children aged 12 and 14. He emphasized that detention would deprive the children of parental care and support.

Yordanov himself during the court session admitted that he was not aware of the full extent of the consequences of his actions. According to his words, his only intention was to provoke a check of the woman's luggage.

The Bulgarian Telegraph Agency recalls the chronology of the incident - the man was detained after calling an official phone number at "Vasil Levski" airport and submitting a false alarm about an explosive device with a passenger traveling to Slovakia.
