Bomb Threat at the Palace of Justice: Evacuation, Searches, and Resumption of Cases

The Palace of Justice in Sofia was evacuated following a bomb threat. After two-hour searches by the police, fire department, and emergency services, the signal proved to be false, and the building is now open, with cases resumed.

This morning, around 8:45 AM, a bomb threat was received at the Courthouse, which necessitated the evacuation of everyone present in the building and the temporary suspension of court cases.

Police teams, firefighters, and ambulances arrived on the scene immediately and conducted detailed checks. According to information from the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR), after about two hours of checks, no suspicious objects were found.

After the completion of the checks, the Courthouse was reopened, and the cases were resumed. The event caused temporary inconveniences, but everything ended safely.
