Parking spaces in the "Official Subscription" scheme outside the Burgas hotel on Han Krum Street are being sublet for €3 an hour, according to a tip received by city councillor Violeta Diyanova. She has sent a query on the case to Burgas mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
Diyanova asks whether Burgas council staff patrol the area regularly and what they found during checks.
She also wants to know whether the council has received other reports of the same practice, and what it has done about them.
