Today, a report will be submitted to the Prosecutor General. The reason for this is the claims of Ivelin Mihaylov, leader of the "Velichie" formation.
Vasilev, the leader of "Moral, Unity, Honor" (MECH), made this announcement to journalists in the corridors of parliament. Mihaylov's words, that he was pressured in a shopping center and certain things were offered to him, will be the subject of an investigation.
The tension in the legislative hall is palpable. Journalists are covering the developments.
Yesterday, MECH made accusations against MPs and the chairman of "Velichie", related to violations, including document crimes, draining state funds, and improper spending of party subsidies. From "Velichie" they replied that all campaign expenses and subsidies have been accounted for and are subject to full financial control. Their statement quoted a statement by Mihaylov, according to which he was offered a proposal from the leaders of GERB and "DPS-New Beginning" – Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski, for his formation to take the place of "There Is Such a People" (ITN) in the ruling coalition. Mihaylov stated: "This time no money was offered - there were only threats".
Vasilev insists on an investigation into the people who bothered Mihaylov, as well as what they offered him. He calls for the records from the cameras in the shopping centers to be requested.
"Ivelin Mihaylov is connected to all the financial frauds that we reported yesterday," believes Vasilev. "They had brought five million to Mihaylov because of Kostadin Kostadinov and then he said that these are some dreams", he added. Vasilev is adamant that such individuals should not represent the Bulgarian voters.
"Simultaneously, we will notify the Prosecutor General for document crimes of people connected to "Velichie"", announced Vasilev. "We cannot tolerate pyramids in parliament" - added the MP. He pointed out that thousands of families have suffered as a result of financial frauds related to "Velichie".
Asked why he changed his opinion about Ivelin Mihaylov, Vasilev explained that he always knew about the existence of a pyramid, but he did not realize that it was a "parliamentary pyramid".
