Shumen Theater Presents Two Comedies at Orpheus Summer Cinema - Plovdiv
Drama and Puppet Theater 'Vasil Drumev' - Shumen will be a guest with two performances at Orpheus Summer Cinema - Plovdiv. On August 20, viewers will have the pleasure of seeing the comedy 'The Ballerina Who Set the Operetta on Fire' featuring Albena Koleva, and on August 27 - the absurd satire 'Daby Deshil Ine' by Tedi Moskov.
The summer cinema becomes a stage for theater and vivid scenic worlds - from the confession of a prima ballerina to the parodic reality of a world without wars, but with dictators and theater artists. 'The Ballerina Who Set the Operetta on Fire' presents the life story of an artist, intertwining labor, fanaticism and self-irony - about the efforts behind the scenes and the passion for the stage. The ballerina does not give up, even when the stage is ablaze, tells Albena Koleva's role.
'Daby Deshil Ine' by Tedi Moskov is an absurdist comedy, a political satire, in which theater turns out to be the only field of true confrontation - dictators like Adolf Kihler and Osip Stavalin are introduced in a surreal bowling alley with schnapps. The production features Maya Novoseiska, Evgeni Budinov and the troupe of Drama and Puppet Theater 'Vasil Drumev'. Scenography - Dimitar Vodenicharov, costumes - Adriyana Naydenova, music - Antoni Donchev.
