Solemn celebration of the Banya village holiday
By tradition, the residents and guests of the Nesebar village of Banya are preparing for an exciting holiday. On July 20, the Day of St. Elijah – the patron saint of lightning and thunder, the settlement will come alive with a rich program and a festive mood.
The feast of St. Elijah is a symbol of spirituality and community for all the village residents.
Program of events:
- 09:00 AM – Holy Liturgy, officiated by Father Yordan at the "St. Prophet Elijah" Church.
- 11:00 AM – Opening of an art exhibition featuring artists from the village of Emona in the multi-functional building.
- Evening program: Festive concert in the square in front of the town hall.
The festive program will feature the "Obzor" Youth Dance Ensemble, led by Tsvetelin Rafailov, and the "Kitchitsa" Children's Folklore Group from the "Izgrev 1927" Community Center in Obzor, led by Kerka Mateva. A special musical guest will be the "Strandzhanska Palitra" orchestra. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
