Until April 16, the heads of medical institutions and social service providers have the opportunity to form polling stations. This is according to the schedule of the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the elections on April 19.
The heads of medical institutions, nursing homes, or other specialized social service institutions, and the captains of vessels under the Bulgarian flag can form polling stations and compile voter lists if there are at least 10 voters. They must notify the municipal administration of the registered individuals so that they can be removed from the voter lists at their permanent address.
The same deadline – April 16 – also applies to the heads of places of deprivation of liberty and detention. They can form polling stations and compile lists if there are a minimum of 10 voters. Again, they must notify the municipalities.
The total number of voters for the vote on April 19 is 6,575,151. There will be 9,354 polling stations with machines and 2,641 with paper ballots only in the country.
