Representatives of Burgas State University (BSU) "Prof. Asen Zlatarov" and the University of Forestry (LTU) held a working meeting to discuss the possibilities for expanding the academic partnership. Two master's programs were discussed - in the field of tourism, focused on alternative and sustainable forms, and in the field of materials and materials science, which will combine scientific potential and practical training.
LTU, which plans to open a branch in Burgas, has experience in creating joint programs with other universities. Burgas offers "exceptional natural and academic resources" suitable for training and practice in tourism and for development in the field of modern materials.
According to the rector of BSU, Prof. Dr. Sotir Sotirov, the future programs will improve the image and expand opportunities for students. The rector of LTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hristo Mihailov, commented that the expansion of cooperation strengthens positions in science and education and creates new opportunities for students.
In the coming months, the curricula, the training format and the practical elements, as well as the leading university for each of the programs, will be specified.
