The Center for Young Talents - Burgas invites all fourth grade children from Burgas and the region to participate in the second edition of the English language competition "The English Stars Challenge".
The competition will be held on February 23, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the center's building.
Within the competition, participants will go through four competitive rounds - vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and speaking. The format is adapted to the age of the children and aims to encourage their language skills through accessible, interactive and engaging tasks, based on modern educational methods.
The best performing participants will be awarded certificates, medals and prizes. Special prizes will also be awarded in the Best Speaker and Fastest Thinker categories.
For 15 years, the Center for Young Talents has been working purposefully for the development of children from the city and the region, providing them with opportunities to build on their school knowledge and achieve high educational results in the field of science and arts. The organizers aim to establish the English language competition as an annual tradition in the Center's calendar.
On the occasion of the initiative, the chairman of the "Chance for the Children and Nature of Bulgaria" Foundation, Liliana Slavova, commented: "In today's world, mastering the English language is the key to countless opportunities for young people. Through such competitions, children not only improve their language skills, but also develop confidence and communication skills.
The competition motivates them to go beyond routine learning and discover the true joy of using the English language. I believe that investing in the education of our children is an investment in the future of Bulgaria."
