An agreement has been reached between the unions, business, and the government on the main parameters of the draft Law on the State Budget for 2026. This was stated by Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova.
The increase in dividend tax, as well as the Unified Tax on Profits (SUPTO), is eliminated. The increase in the social security contribution by 2% is also eliminated.
For the capital program - a reduction of 450 million euros in national funding.
By the end of the day, the Ministry of Finance will present the draft and the updated medium-term budget forecast. On Monday, after the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation, the draft state budget will be submitted to the National Assembly.
