The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO) published shocking evidence of systematic cultural expropriation carried out by Russian occupation forces on the Crimean peninsula. The specialized section "Stolen Heritage" of the War&Sanctions portal presents a detailed catalog of 110 illegally appropriated archaeological artifacts.

The documented violations cover multiple archaeological sites, including strategic locations such as the "Artesian Settlement", the "Genoese Fortress Chembalo" and the Southern Suburb of Tauric Chersonesus. Particularly concerning are the revelations around the Roman camp Kadykovske, where occupation authorities in Sevastopol plan to build a shopping center over potential historical sites.

Among the most scandalous cases are the seized exhibits from the National Preserve "Tauric Chersonesus", which were deceptively transported under the pretext of a temporary exhibition at the museum in Yekaterinburg. This practice reveals a deliberate strategy of systematic looting of cultural heritage.

The Intelligence Directorate emphasizes that all documented crimes will be investigated, insisting categorically that the perpetrators will face fair punishment for the actions against the Ukrainian people.

The source of information is the official statement of the GUR MO and the War&Sanctions platform, which provide irrefutable evidence of large-scale cultural expropriation.
