Young robotics talents showed off their skills in Burgas
The fifth edition of Robo Challenge Burgas 2026 turned the lobby of the Faculty of Medicine at the Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov University of Burgas into an arena of innovation. Students from 8th to 12th grade demonstrated enviable skills in five key categories: LEGO Mini Sumo, LEGO Line Following, Innovative Solutions, Mini Sumo, and Line Following.
"It is important for us to support talents and create an environment that stimulates innovation from a young age," said the Rector of the university, Prof. Dr. Sotir Sotirov.

The event was also attended by the head of the Regional Department of Education (RUO) – Burgas, Valentina Kamalieva, who emphasized the importance of practical skills and teamwork. During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to 38 students who successfully completed the robotics course at the university under the National Program "Education with Science."

The competition was held with the support of Burgas Municipality, Techedge AD, and the Center for Personal Development Support (CPLR) – Burgas, reaffirming the city's role as a hub for the development of future high-tech specialists.
