The regional election commission in Burgas has received its first complaint about a breach of the Electoral Code in the campaign for president and vice president, commission chair Georgi Mihov said.

The complaint is dated 12 October and concerns illegal campaigning in the village of Zidarovo, in Sozopol municipality. "It is about campaign materials and posters stuck on electricity poles," Mihov said.

Commission members went to the site and checked the facts. "We have taken action and established the facts," Mihov said.

In October, the commission decided that Pomorie and Karnobat will each get one mobile ballot box for the presidential and vice-presidential election on 25 October. In Pomorie, voters with permanent disabilities filed 11 requests.

After the check, the commission ordered the posters along the street to be taken down at once. The decision has been sent to the mayor of Sozopol, who must carry it out.
