A New Era for Education in Burgas
With a solemn ceremony at SU "Konstantin Petkanov", a modern STEM center was opened – a contemporary educational space designed to inspire students to explore, create, and think innovatively. The new center is designed as a space where science is perceived as "magic that works", and imagination turns into reality through technology, coding, and creative thinking.
The main goal of the STEM center is the development of practical skills and competencies in the fields of robotics, engineering sciences, and computer graphics.
A Technological Wonder of 400 sq. m.
The center is located on the third floor of the school and covers an area of over 400 sq. m. The project was implemented under the Operational Program "National Recovery and Resilience Plan" and includes specialized tracks such as "Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems" and "Design, 3D, and Prototyping".
Functional zones of the center:
- Center for technology in the creative industries
- Classroom for creative digital creators
- Robotics workshop
- Multifunctional space for projects
Opportunities for Future Professions
During the opening, guests were introduced to the real possibilities of the center through demonstrations of the following technologies:
- Digital design and video editing
- 3D printing and model prototyping
- Programming and robot control
- Working with software for graphic processing and audio recording
