Repairs on the Kiten – MMC – Primorsko road are moving ahead, and crews will lay gravel next.
Primorsko mayor Ivan Gaykov visited the site in person. Workers used special equipment to test the load-bearing strength and compaction of the road base.
The finished street will have new parking spaces, pavements, a cycle lane and new street lighting.
Gaykov called the pace of work "extremely good". The road will get new asphalt at the end. The mayor expects the repairs to finish as soon as possible if the good weather in the area holds.
