The renovation of the Graphic Base in Burgas has begun, part of the project “Tourism Through Culture – Our Common Future” under the IPA Bulgaria-Turkey Programme. The reconstruction includes the repair of the roof, the sewerage system, the electrical system, and waterproofing. The aim is to create a “Cultural and Educational Center and Museum” which will serve students from the National Academy of Arts, artists, and foreign creators, providing opportunities for training and artistic projects. The project aims to preserve cultural heritage, develop new sites and practices, support young artists, and overcome seasonality in tourism. The main goals also include promoting cooperation between cultural institutions in the region.
