Plumbing Repairs in Burgas Close Key Intersection Near University Hospital
Due to extensive plumbing infrastructure repairs, a key intersection in Burgas will be completely closed to traffic, announced the municipality's press center. The restriction, which will cause serious traffic difficulties, affects the area around University Hospital for Active Treatment (UHAT) Burgas.
The planned road closure will last until 5:30 PM and covers the intersection of "Sv. Panteleimon Leсhitel" Street with the main access road to and from the hospital complex in the "Zornitsa" neighborhood. This section is of vital importance not only for access to the medical facility but also for the residents of the densely populated area.
In connection with the upcoming repair works, the municipal administration urges all drivers to comply with the temporary traffic arrangements, which aim to ease traffic and ensure unhindered access for citizens to the hospital.
To avoid a complete transport blockade, a bypass route has been provided for patients and residents. The route starts from "Dimitar Dimov" Boulevard, continues along the street to block 82 in the "Zornitsa" complex (Lazuren Bryag), passes in front of the "Perla" residential complex, and ends in front of the entrance to UHAT Burgas.
What to Expect and Advice for Drivers
- The repair works are expected to cause significant congestion on surrounding streets, especially during peak hours.
- Local residents and people traveling to the hospital will need to be patient and follow the instructions of law enforcement authorities to avoid incidents.
The Municipality of Burgas appeals to drivers to strictly adhere to the temporary arrangements while the repairs are ongoing to ensure the safety of all road users.
