Political leader Radostin Vasilev revealed a series of scandalous intentions in the Bulgarian parliament related to the totalizator and state governance. In an expressive statement to journalists, he criticized attempts to transfer the totalizator to a private company.
With categorical statements, Vasilev emphasized that the current political situation aims for suspicious privatization processes. "A real circus will unfold in parliament," he was adamant, hinting at corrupt practices behind the scenes of power.
Recalling his own mandate as a minister, Vasilev stated that during his time, there was order and discipline. He even cited personal experiences, sharing that he was so uncompromising towards the "scoundrels who stole from sports" that they placed his picture in a toilet of an establishment.
His criticism of the fire response system was particularly sharp. Vasilev highlighted the vicious cycle where every year there is talk of purchasing equipment, but no real actions are taken. "I am disgusted by what is happening and am in a helpless state," the politician said.
Regarding the Anti-Corruption Commission, his formation MECh took a firm position. They categorically refuse to support any proposals related to Delyan Peevski, defining them as harmful to the state.
Vasilev characterized the situation as a "battle between Peevski and Borisov", in which political players take strange positions. According to him, Peevski's proposals are destructive, and Borisov's support is unsustainable.
MECh's position remains unwavering - they are against closing the commission due to the lack of a clear plan for existing cases and evidence.
