Employers' groups have asked the minister in charge to stop the current scheme that compensates firms for high electricity prices. Talks with the minister have lasted almost an hour, but so far nothing concrete has been agreed.

The employers say the compensation money arrives late, which puts firms at serious risk. They warn that wages could be delayed, firms could cut jobs, and goods and services could get more expensive.
