Following the heavy rainfall that affected the Burgas region on October 3, the Regional Health Inspectorate (RZI) – Burgas took control measures to check the quality of drinking water in the villa settlement "Elenite", Nesebar municipality. On October 20, samples were taken from the central water supply network of the settlement to determine the water"s compliance with approved standards.
A source from RZI – Burgas stated that the samples are undergoing detailed analyses, covering both chemical and microbiological indicators. The purpose of these studies is to ensure that the quality of drinking water meets the requirements set out in Ordinance No. 9 on the quality of water intended for drinking and domestic purposes. This is critically important for public health and the safety of the residents and guests of the villa settlement.
The results of the laboratory analyses, obtained after a thorough examination of the samples, show that the drinking water in "Elenite" fully meets the regulatory requirements for all tested indicators. This means that the water is safe for consumption and for domestic use.
In addition, to ensure consistency and reliability of the results, RZI – Burgas took additional measures. On October 22, repeated control sampling was carried out from the water supply network of the central water supply of the villa settlement "Elenite_q_. This step demonstrates the commitment of the health authorities to ensuring the highest standards of water quality and protecting public health.
