People no longer want things to continue this way, said the chairman of the parliamentary group of “Velichie” Ivelin Mihailov to journalists upon entering the parliament.

According to him, after yesterday's protest there should be a change in the positions of the parties. After such a massive protest, it would be good for them to consider what people want, because the protest was not only in Sofia, but throughout the country, Mihailov added.

If the government does not resign, the tension will escalate, people no longer want things to continue this way, the leader of “Velichie” also said. Ivelin Mihailov also expects the creation of a new party if new elections are held, which in turn would lead to a reshuffling of political parties in the National Assembly.

Yesterday, many Bulgarians went out to protests demanding the resignation of the government in Sofia and in other cities in the country.

At 1:30 PM today, the parliament will vote on the draft decision for a vote of no confidence in the Council of Ministers with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. The vote was submitted last Friday by "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" and supported by "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" and "Morality, Unity, Honor".
