Today, there is a protest again because of a broken road. Residents of Kableshkovo and the surrounding villages are protesting because of the poor condition of the road between Burgas and Kableshkovo. The discontent escalated after years of complaints about the poor condition of the road surface.
This is the second protest in less than a month demanding urgent action, and the residents have already submitted a petition to several state and local institutions. It is supported by more than 3600 people demanding immediate major repairs to the road.
Such repairs have not been done for more than 35 years, and the road is an alternative route between Sunny Beach and Nessebar.
