In the next few days, the weather will gradually and partially improve, but there will also be windy periods, as well as mostly weak, short-term showers. Although cloudiness will be significant, a gradual change in meteorological conditions is expected.

What to expect today?

Today, most of the country will be cloudy and cool, with rain showers. They will be of a short-term nature in many places, intermittent and not very substantial. An exception will be the Rila-Rhodope region and adjacent areas, where there may be more substantial amounts of precipitation, and locally, it may even warm up.

Maximum temperatures will be in a wide range: from 8-10 degrees in the eastern regions and high western plains, to 17-18 degrees in the western part of the Danubian Plain, where the clouds will break and there will be partly sunny intervals.

Forecast for the night and the following days

During the night, cloudiness will be significant, gradually decreasing from north to south. Rain showers will occur in certain parts of the southwestern regions. Minimum temperatures tomorrow morning will be between 2 and 7 degrees.

European forecast and trends for the week

In Europe, over the western and central regions, it will be sunny, and temperatures will rise under the influence of the spring sun. It will remain cooler in some parts of the Balkans and in the northeastern European parts of Russia.

Important for Bulgaria: By the end of the week, temperatures in the lowlands will increase by one or two degrees per day, reaching about 20 degrees in places. However, windy periods are expected on Friday and Sunday, and short-term showers will occur only in certain places.
