The reorganization of traffic in the area of the cemetery park in Burgas will be introduced tomorrow, November 1st. The announcement came from the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas, which comes in response to growing concerns about the safety of citizens. The changes are introduced in order to facilitate access to the cemetery park and to ensure the safety of all visitors.
On the eve of All Souls' Day, the traditional commemoration of which gathers a large number of people, the authorities are taking preventive measures. A large influx of citizens to the park is expected, which necessitates the taking of these measures.
From 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, vehicular traffic in the area will be one-way. This is a key change aimed at preventing congestion and chaos. Entering the cemetery park will be via the entrance located next to the roundabout at the exit of the city towards the famous resort. The exit, on the other hand, will be organized through "Transportna" street.
The authorities have also foreseen additional measures to regulate traffic. Traffic on "Transportna" street will be diverted to "Dimitar Dimov" Blvd. to avoid the accumulation of cars.
It is important to note that not all vehicles will be affected by this organization. Only trucks and buses from urban and intercity transport will be allowed without restrictions.
In addition to the changes in traffic organization, there will be increased police presence. Police teams will be deployed near the pedestrian crossings. Their task will be to monitor and, if necessary, temporarily stop traffic to ensure the safe passage of pedestrians.
All Souls' Day is always celebrated on the Saturday before Archangel Michael's Day, which is celebrated on November 8th. The day is associated with paying tribute to the deceased.
