For the sixth consecutive year, the educational campaign "I Cross Safely with TEDI" is once again visiting Burgas, reaffirming its significance in the educational calendar. This time, the initiative found a home in the "Anton Strashimirov" primary school, where first graders had the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about road safety, delivered by experts from the General Directorate "National Police".
An integral part of the training was the TEDI bear, which serves as a reliable companion in road safety lessons.
The campaign is aimed at the children of Bulgaria and aims to introduce them to the basic rules for traffic on the roads. The organizers of this important initiative are Timark Bulgaria, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
This year, as in previous years, the campaign is being implemented in a hybrid format, combining practical lessons and interactive online materials. Practical activities, led by experts from the "National Police", are planned to be held in a total of six cities. In addition to Burgas, the list includes Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Veliko Tarnovo.
In 2025, more than 10,000 students from grades 1 to 3 will have the opportunity to go through the "I Cross Safely with TEDI" training. To date, more than 60 schools from 22 settlements across the country have participated in the campaign.
Lora Velichkova, brand manager for TEDI at Timark Bulgaria, shared her vision for the importance of the initiative. "As a mother, I know how important it is for the basic rules of road safety to be presented in accessible language, in a fun and interactive way, so that they can remain permanently in the minds of children. That's why I can proudly share that we at Timark Bulgaria have truly taken to heart the development and growth of our children, investing not only in quality children's drinks, but also in shaping young and intelligent people who will protect both their own and other people's lives on the road in the future. For six consecutive years, we have been organizing the "I Cross Safely with TEDI" campaign, through which more than 50,000 students from all over the country have been trained. And the most valuable award for us is the positive feedback we receive every year from children, parents, and teachers."
