The government has given another €3,918,567 to the Regional Centre for Transfusion Haematology (RCTH) in Burgas. The centre will use the money to buy more medical equipment and supplies.
The centre was set up by Council of Ministers Decree 269 of 31 July 2024. It serves hospitals across Burgas region.
The cabinet says its main aim is a lasting solution that gives hospitals in the region enough blood and blood products.
The Council of Ministers said the project meets current health care law and the goals set in the sector's strategy papers.
