Municipalities will get extra money in 2026 to cover losses on city bus routes that ticket sales don't fully pay for. A decree approving the transfers is on the agenda when the cabinet meets at 10:00, the government press office says.
Ministers will also look at a decree setting rules for how municipalities register individual electric vehicles.
The agenda also includes a draft decision on setting up a European Digital Identity Wallet in Bulgaria and on meeting Bulgaria's duties under EU Regulation 910/2014.
The cabinet will review changes to the limits on how much sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust large combustion plants can release into the air. The current limits were set under Council of Ministers Decree No. 354 of 2012.
