A flat caught fire late at night on the third floor of a block in Burgas's Zornitsa district. The call came in to 112 at around 10:20pm.
One fire engine with four firefighters went to the scene, along with five police patrol cars, sent because of the size of the block and to help with a possible evacuation.
Everyone living on that staircase was brought out in front of the block. No one was hurt and there was no panic. Firefighters checked the landings for other fires and for fumes, while police guarded the area and stood ready to help.
By the time a news crew reached the scene just after 10:40pm, the evacuation was already over.
Experts still have to find out what caused the fire and how much damage it did.
