Today, Pomorie solemnly celebrated 148 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria. The celebration began with the raising of the Bulgarian flag by the XX Guards Detachment of Ivan Vazov Secondary School.

Protoiereus Boris Georgiev from the Church "Nativity of the Theotokos" served a thanksgiving prayer service.

Revival houses, made by the students in the 3rd A class from Hristo Botev Primary School, provoked an extremely pleasant mood.

Mayor Ivan Aleksiev, the chairman of the Municipal Council Adam Adamov, and others were present at the celebration.

The program ended with the laying of wreaths and flowers and a joyful communal horo (Bulgarian folk dance).
