The Plein Air "THE WORLD IS THE SEA" Has Begun

The plein air festival "THE WORLD IS THE SEA" has begun its three-day creative odyssey, transforming the shore of the salt lake into an open-air studio. In an atmosphere of inspiration and to the sound of lapping waves, three prominent sculptors have already immersed themselves in their work, creating their sculptures.

Atanas Stoyanov, Georgi Minchev, and Momchil Mirchev skillfully combine the natural forms of stone and wood to breathe new life into them. Their works, which are gradually taking shape against the backdrop of the water's expanse, are part of a large-scale initiative that brings together talented artists from various fields of art.

Expected Participants

An impressive group of artists is set to join the sculpting trio that initiated the plein air. Among them are established names such as Dimitar Cholakov, Daniela Boshnakova, Dimo Kolibarov, Ekaterina Petkova, Nikola Enev, Nina Ruseva, and Ralitsa Mircheva. Their presence is expected to enrich the event, bringing a variety of styles and techniques that will transform the lake shore into a true open-air gallery.

Goals of the Event

The organizers hope that the plein air will become an event of national scale, attracting both art connoisseurs and the general public. The goal is to create a unique environment where creativity is born in direct dialogue with nature, and the works become part of the landscape in which they were conceived. Finally, the works will be presented to the public, who will have the opportunity to experience the magic of art born from the earth and the sea.
