Drivers in Pomorie must now pay to park in the short-term paid zone, a rule that runs until 15 May 2027. The charge applies on weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm. Pomorie council announced the change. Parking is free after 5pm, on Saturdays and Sundays, and on official public holidays.

The rule comes from Ordinance No. 23 on paid and free parking in the town.

Until 31 October, the council will take applications from residents of the Sveti Georgi neighbourhood who want preferential paid parking outside the short-term zone. Residents must apply with Form No. 5, submitted to the director of the municipal enterprise "Management of Municipal Property".

All Pomorie residents can buy a parking subscription for their cars at the town's car parks, covering 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. Applicants use Form No. 7, filed separately for each car, with a limit of two cars per person.

The subscription does not cover the hospital car park or the "Fishing Port - Pomorie" car park.

Applications for the "staff subscription" scheme can be filed year-round with Form No. 3, submitted to the director of the municipal enterprise along with the required documents. This scheme follows Decision No. 779 of 4 March 2026.
