Energy minister Iva Petrova told MPs on parliament's energy committee that the Electricity System Security Fund has no deficit and its budget is balanced.
"The situation with the fund is under control," Petrova said.
She said the fund pays everything required by law and by the current programmes that offset electricity prices. Its income is also arriving as planned, she added.
"We are working to make sure the fund's budget stays balanced," Petrova said.
